2025 VIC Political Leadership Fellowship

The 2025 Fellowship program is designed to support and empower aspiring Greens candidates who face systemic barriers. If you are interested in representing your community but feel unsure for any reason, this is the program for you. 

Now more than ever we need leaders just like you, changing how we do politics. However, we know the political system isn’t created to be accessible for many candidates. The 2025 Fellowship offers an inclusive, welcoming and fun space to make stepping into politics a positive and supportive experience.

Here is what you can expect: 

• A cohort full of people in a similar position to build community with.
• Workshops to familiarise you with the Greens and share campaigning skills.
• To be met where you are with respect and warmth.
• Individual mentoring.
• Lots of fun!

Through tailored mentoring, skills development and a strong community of support, the Fellowship will help participants build confidence. It will also offer the opportunity to grow their networks and take the next step in their political journey. Whether you're new to politics or ready to run, the program offers a welcoming and inclusive space to learn, lead, and make a difference in your community. 

To apply please fill in this short form by Thursday 6th of November. We will start processing applications as we receive them.  We will call those accepted into the next round to get an understanding of how we can best support you through the fellowship.
