I’m a musician, teacher and Peninsula local. I love the Peninsula, and I’m proud to call it home, for its beautifully unique Western Port environment and our passionate community. However, the continued neglect of our public transport infrastructure and housing affordability pushes our young people away.
Those in power have done little to address these issues that matter to us in Hastings. People are feeling frustrated and hopeless, and they’re right to do so. It’s time to move away from the major parties and their corporate mates, and build a politics that puts people and the planet first.
I’m running for the Greens because we are the only party that has the guts to address the issues in our communities without leaving anyone behind. Hastings deserves a positive Greens voice who will stand up for the community and deliver change.
