I’m a senior high school teacher and social justice advocate. I’ve lived all across regional and rural Victoria. I moved to Mildura with my husband and toddler 25 years ago to take up jobs in tourism. While our jobs have changed, our love for this region grew. I love this community and want to see our region thrive now and into the future.
My values are firmly rooted in community, compassion, and integrity. What you see is what you get. I am a do-er, I focus on solving problems, not complaining about them, and I love to see results.
As a teacher, I am a passionate advocate for education, and I see firsthand the inadequate funding our schools receive. I also see so much potential for Mildura – to be at the forefront of renewable energy; and growth in new industries. I also want to see meaningful cost of living relief through affordable housing and rent caps.
