Hi, I'm Samantha
I’m a local teacher, an advocate for sustainable, safe and liveable cities. I am running for council to advocate for a fair and equitable Maribyrnong. As a dedicated teacher with twenty years of experience in the public education system, I am passionate about empowering young people to thrive. I am the founder of the Joseph Road Precinct Action Group (JRPAG) and was a regular Lifeline volunteer.
In Saltwater ward, we have opportunities for progressive change by creating safer streets, sustainable urban planning and affordable housing. Council can play a central role in addressing the climate crisis, investing in infrastructure and advocating for affordable housing across the city.
I am committed to building an inclusive and welcoming community. The West also needs more green spaces to mitigate climate change and combat the urban heat island effect.
I am dedicated to advocating for the community in the City of Maribyrnong.
